Tak Tak 2

St. Etienne Design Biennial, France, 2004

Tak Tak 2 is the second generation of Ottoman bathing clogs (Nalın). Its design and digital models were exhibited in the Saint-Etienne International Design Biennial in November 2004.

Tak Tak 1 was the outcome of the Contemporary Hamam Workshop that Miné participated in 2003-2004 and displayed in the Hamam exhibition in Kulturhuset Stockholm, Sweden in 2004; whereas Tak Tak 3 is a collection, designed and prototyped in the practiced-based design research project titled Bathing Clogs: From the Traditional Turkish Bath to Present.
