Çukurova Backhoe Loader 880

Çukurova Backhoe Loader 880, also named Backhoeconomy, was designed as a new model for the product range of Çumitaş in 2007. The 880 was developed as a construction vehicle aimed for Turkic countries and the Northern African market, featuring an affordable price, high performance, and low maintenance expenses.

It was the first time Çumitaş engineering team was collaborating with an industrial designer in a product development process, where Miné created both the outlook of the 880, designing the exterior and interior of the operator cabinet, mudguards, and the hood.

Since 2007, the product design language established by Miné for the 880 became a staple in Çumitaş’ design philosophy, as the new models -Backhoe Loader 883, 885 and 888- followed the same principles.
