Luminous Bags

Foam Lighting Fixtures, 2005

The Luminous Bags were conceptualized and made to celebrate the 8th of March, International Women’s day for ABA, International Art Symposium of Women Artists.

Six bags were designed as standing and wall mounted lighting fixtures, representing the abundance and the economic independence of women. The bags were made out of high-density foam sheets and a daylight CFL (Compact Fluorescent Lamp) installed inside.
