Own Studio Flat

Bebek, İstanbul, 2000

The 60 m2 studio flat, located on the ground floor of an apartment building, was built in 1969 in a neighborhood between Arnavutköy and Bebek. The two-bedroom flat was converted into this studio, designed for "a minimal life in a minimum space" for one or one and half individuals (or for part-time couples). 

The façade leading to the garden has wall-to-wall sliding windows, the semi-open kitchen and open bedroom all give the sense of spaciousness to whoever lives there. All the furniture was specifically designed for this living space.
